About

7220 Blues is an audition-only vocal ensemble founded in 2022. We focus on contemporary and modern jazz. We are a student-led ensemble that meets twice a week on the member's time. By being a student-led ensemble, we give students the opportunity to apply their skills in music education, providing them with real-life experience in a music education position. All members belong to one or more separate vocal groups through the University of Wyoming. We perform throughout the year at various venues, including The Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts, Laramie High School, Laramie Middle School, and occasional outside venues.
